Forrest Griffin
There is nobody that can dispute this decision. Much better fight from Forrest than he had in the first fight. My hats off to him. Everybody said he was done, he proved he still has the huge heart that makes a fighter, a fighter. Tito had two takedowns, I'm a wrestler, so what, Forrest defended and got back to his feet. Tito said Forrest was the better man, and there is no doubt about that tonight.

Re: Forrest Griffin
Forrest dominated the entire fight. Tito's stand-up looked pretty awful for the most part. He just looked totally lost and awkward. His ground game was still his strongest aspect and he really cut Forrest open nicely at one point, but he never came close to finishing the fight other than the potentially dangerous cut he opened up via elbows right beside Forrest's eye.
The entire fight was basically the same thing back and forth, I thought. Forrest would come in a throw a few punches that would slip through and rock Tito, Tito would attempt to counter every now and then but do little to nothing, and Tito succeeded on a few takedowns and showed decent oldschool ground-and-pound but didn't do enough to earn the decision. Most of the fight was standing up from what I remember, and Forrest took Tito to school when it came to boxing.
Easy victory for Forrest, and huge letdown for a potentially massive Tito comeback to the UFC.

Re: Forrest Griffin
Tito's takedowns worried me, i was afraid the judges would think too highly of them, im glad they didnt, he never really did any major damage, and forrest swept him once.
Forrest just dominated Tito on the feet, Tito looked like an amateur when Forrest began throwing good combo's and landing solidly.
